Forum’s process for bringing on a new client typically starts about 90 – 120 days out from renewal.  We prefer to onboard a client before they receive their renewal so that we handle the entire renewal process including carrier renewal negotiations.  We begin with a complete review of their current benefits, compliance review, technology review, and analyze the process of your open enrollment and new hire.   This analysis will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

The next step is to determine the technology platforms we recommend and assist with implementation.  Depending on the platform chosen, this process can take anywhere from 72 hours to 2 weeks.

We will train your HR staff on our systems and will set up open enrollment meetings where our team will be on site. We can also record a webinar of the open enrollment meeting for use with new hires.

All terminations and new hires will be managed in the Benefit Administration System and will have file feeds directly to the carrier.  This will also include COBRA. We will train your HR department on tips to improve efficiencies and stay informed on system updates.

We will assign a dedicated Client Services Advocate and will introduce them during open enrollment to your staff.  We encourage your staff to call CSA for claim issues, pricing advocacy and questions regarding their benefits.  We will give each employee a customized benefit booklet. We have also created a new communication tool called Forum Facts.  Forum sends out the Forum Fact by email directly to the employee to help them make better decisions accessing health services. We also conduct on site wellness meetings and events such as biometric screenings and flu shot clinics.
